When will said man return? Is he on a short term something or other, or is he deployed?
I know how you feel. My husband is Army and I have not seen or heard from him in almost 2 weeks. Hang in there :)Rachel
Kim -- He is TDY -- about 1 to 2 more months.
Oh, you poor thing. That has got to be hard. I'll say prayers that this time flies by for you.~Maria
I know how hard this is for you. When my husband first became a trucker he was gone for months at a time. Here are some things that helped me get through. You might already be doing them though. Hobbies- stay busy as possible.Talk as often as you can on the phone. Write him emails whether or not he actually reads them doesn't matter. You feel as if you are talking to him.Take his cologne and spray onto your pillow at night. It will help you sleep.
I have to say that I have never even heard of The Moldy Peaches, but that song you have made me laugh outloud. Thanks for the smile. ; )
And ever has it been known that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation. ...Kahil Gibran
You don't have to post this, but may I link to your blog?

Okay...need translation. I am military acronym illiterate. TDY? Is that like "I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you?"
Kim -- Temporary Duty...I know, it does not make sense.
OOh, ooh, child.... things are gonna get easier ;)
I miss him too. Can't be TD because that would be touch down so it is Temporary DutY. Gosh!
