That lolling tongue and droopy jowls that can hide a small animal (literally...my lab once hid a baby rabbit in his and brought it up to me in bed, still alive!) look all too familiar. Trying to get something out of their mouth is a very complicated and slimy game of hide-n-seek! But, those pups are like our children, except hairier :)
