Indiana Jones: Unfiltered, Uncut, and Unbelievable

Here it is -- unfiltered, uncut, and UNBELIEVABLE. After this I feel very secure in the fact that Indiana Jones will never start a blog. It is my deepest fear that you all would leave me for him. His vocabulary is WAY bigger than mine and he uses complete sentences and spells correctly and like never uses the words: seriously, as if, and glitter. I know, it is hard to believe we have been married for almost 12 years. It doesn't seem a day over 50. I kid. I kid. So here it goes...Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, freaks and lovers: Innndiaannnna Jooones....

How totally stoked are you that I chose you to feature on my blog in an interview?
Like on a scale?

Sure.
Well, at least a five.

Why not a ten?
I don't know.

So could it be a ten?
I doubt it.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you wanna be?
Right here. I am fine with right here.

On the couch?
Yep, lying on the couch with Middle Twerp watching Dirty Jobs on cable.

What about the beach?
It is okay, but I am not overly big on the beach.

What if I was on the beach in a bikini?
Of course that would make it better.

What is your favorite color?
I don't have a favorite color.

How can you not have a favorite color? How do you choose sweater colors?
I don't buy sweaters, or you buy them for me.

Favorite TV show?
Sports Center or Deadliest Catch

Favorite movie?
The Godfather Part II (1974)

Favorite band?
Tesla

What keeps you awake at night?
The Twerps

Do you want more kids?
I don't know, maybe.

What? I want more. What would convince you of yes?
Winning the lottery and being able to hire a nanny and housekeeper.
(Uhm, isn't that what I am?)

When did you know you were madly in love with me and could not spend another moment away from the warm embrace of my arms?
{chuckle} When I drove back to Oklahoma after being snowed in with you in college in 1995.

What was I wearing when you decided I was the only one for you?
I don't remember, but in fairness I don't remember what I was wearing either.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Gosh, I don't know that I have accomplished anything.

What about our Twerps?
Yeah, but we have not accomplished anything yet...They are not raised or productive members of society.

What is your favorite thing about me?
Your bubbly personality.

If you would not have married me, what would you be doing right now?
Just be in the Air Force protecting you.

Would you be married?
Probably not.

Why not?
Nobody else is dumb enough to marry me.

Are you saying I am dumb?
No, but everybody has a weakness.

If you could have one wish right now, what would it be?
That you would be happier.

What did you think about me when I was just your BFF's little sis in high school?
I thought you were ya know, not much.

What do you remember about me as a little girl?
Nothing much.

What is your biggest pet peeve about me?
You're bipolar.

What is your fave thing I cook?
Chili

What do you think I was in my former life?
An Alpaca

Wanna go to bed?
No

I know. I know. But this is all he would give me. I had a gazillion more questions, but he was wearing down. This is a normal conversation between IJ and myself. Although this time he actually spoke a little more than usual. He would never have a blog. I think he does not use many words cause I use all the words in my account and then dip into his account and use his too. It is kinda like our financial situation too. I just big pink fuzzy heart with glitter LOVE words. See why I must have you guys? What would I do without you? Please don't ever leave me. :o)

So does this answer all your questions?

Nice to meet you IJ!

You 2 have inspired me...I just might have to interview Mr. Clean and feature it on my blog one of these days.

Oh, and you mentioned the beach? We're going to Gulf Shores next month. Come on down to L.A. (lower Alabama) and we'll drink margaritas and hang out and talk while your 3 kids, and my 2 and my nephew run around like wild Indians, then we can revisit the subject of us having more kids!

I say you wait until he wants something (oh you know, to golf on a holiday or a new bow or something really big) and then make him sit through every single question on your list.....

ALthough I (heart) me some Deadliest Catch too! It's the best show ever!

I feel inspired as well - although my fiance is quite the talker, so this MIGHT backfire on me. I won't be able to just jot down his answers - I'll have to record it and spend three hours typing it out!!

Your interview was so cute though! You two play well off of each other. You should definitely try for a round two in the near future.

Ok, first let me say thank you for making my day better. I laughed so hard. What a nice husband IJ is for letting you interview him, although I'm sure he had no choice. :-)
His favorite band is from my hometown here. I heart Tesla too.
I laughed and what his pet peeve of you is. I'm sure my fiance would agree.
But then....oh man......I seriously almost spit ice cream out of my mouth and NOSE when he said what he thought you were in your former life.

I just love reading your blog!!!! You are a totally crack up and certainly make me smile. I don't think IJ could be any better than that.

Alas, I am also married to a man of few words, even though he's an attorney, which sort of seems like an oxymoron. The only time he can "out-talk" me is during a disagreement, but then I feel as though I am on the witness stand because he twists my words like only a lawyer can!

Deadliest Catch is the favorite show of all my guys.

My DH would rather do one of those Dirtest Jobs than write even one blog post.
