So Alive...Oh, So So Alive

It is not very often that you can get any of my boys to sit for longer than 2.8 seconds -- but last night someone was able to mesmerize these two boys of mine. She was able to lure them in with her womanly wiles. The boys were left singing: I don't know what color her eyes were baby, but her hair was long and brown. Her legs were long and so so strong and she did not come from this town. And let me just say her legs -- her legs -- were hairy. I mean somebody loan this sister a razor...puh-leaz. I do not judge, I can relate. But my boys were just plumb smitten with her and they wanted to do something special to show her their love and appreciation for her beauty.
So they did what all crazy men do to show love -- hunt and kill -- bring home the bacon -- or in this instance, the moth.
She immediately went in for the kill, wrapped it up, and sucked its blood. This is also how I make my supper -- amazing resemblance with the hairy legs and the culinary tactics. I feel like I know her...And I think she still feels empty inside and would have liked flowers better
-- or maybe a spider plant. I can feel her like that and all.

Gorgeous photos - all of them. Nothing better than a kiddo safe in daddy's lap!

Sister, you got some seriously good lens over there. Cause my feet are up in my office chair underneath me. I HATE spiders.

EEEE!! That is NOT Charlotte!! You are a brave woman! I have to admit I would've had My Cowboy take care of that little hairy insect. I don't mind if they are outside...away from the house! Just not in or around my home! Scary!!

You Go Girl, all up there taking the pictures. But I'm gonna take a stab at this and say that you weren't all up on the spider, maybe a safe distance away using the long zoon lense.
I bet you're glad to be home!!! Great picture of Baby Twerp and Daddy.
