Straight, Curly, or Moe

I need your help. It is with something that equals the importance of national security. It is hair. I think you all understand. At my old job in my old town in my old state in my old time zone, there was a certain somebody there who told me that my hair looked more professional straight. I don't know. I think it is a stretch to call me professional in any hair style. Unless I had hair like Bob Costas...who I met in real live person...who side hugged me...who I think we might have had a moment...who I secretly have a HUGE crush on. But is it just me or is it lookin like he has a toupee? Cause Bob, bald is so beautiful.

Anywhoo. I need your vote.

Straight...
Curly... Straight...
on crack...
Of course, all this is coming from someone who thinks their hair looked good like this...See why I need your help?

So which is it...
1. Straight
2. Curly
3. Braids are Beautiful

Curly!!! The straight is cool too however it makes me think rocker chick which I have no problem with but not necessarily you want to leave on a job interview.

I think curly too!

i agree with curly !!!

Curly is beautiful. Straight is cute, but seems unfinished. I think it's the layers. I had a hairdresser once tell me that layered hair wasn't good for straightening. My hair is layered and I have to flip it when I straighten it because it just looks messy if I don't.

I like it straight... but I think curly for an interview ! Love your website, you make me laugh.....

curled. The straight looks great if you are heading out to a bar...but I think curled.

I have also been told that curly hair is somehow less professional(I have like..ringlet curls when i let my hair dry naturally) but I think thats ridiculous. Also, Maybe, just maybe, it was because I look a little like shakira when my hair curls. whatev.

I love your hair curly!! As a matter of fact, I'm voting for the hair tutorial so I can see exactly how you make it look so good. :)

Definitely curly! I love the straight look too, but it's more fun and cute than professional in my opinion. You have fabulous hair!

Curled gives a softness to your face. Not only does it make your look younger, it also sexes it up.

You sure like to take a lot of pictures of YOURSELF. Kind of sick.

I like it any way but straight is pretty nice.

My vote is for curly. However, the braids are steller!!!

Boy, some people (*cough* of course they are always anonymous *cough*) are so rude with their comments!

I vote curly. I personally think it looks more professional. I think the layers also look unfinished when they are straightened. What if you just flipped them.....just a little bit?

Either way, I LOVE your hair!!

From one curly hair to another, I vote CURLY!!! I can't believe someone one tell you that it looks more professional straight. Of course you are beautiful either way. But I definitely like the curly much better you do a great job with it. :-)

Gosh, you have great hair! So, with that said, I think either way is great. But, I think the job interview may need the curly "finished" look.

Country Girl...

I vote for the smoother, curled look. I think it's more polished. The straight hair is cute and edgier...wild night on the town with IJ kind of look. No matter what though, your smile is what captures people.

I wish that whomever the anonymous person is that keeps leaving their snarky comments would just stop. If what you do bothers them so much, they shouldn't read your blog. I will however, keep them in my prayers, as they sound like a bitter person and in need of some love in their life. I once had a pastor tell me that "hurting people, hurt others". I have found this to be true.

Curly. Normally I think straight is more professional, but with your cut I like the curly.

Mine on the other hand. Lawsie! I really need to put it up or straighten it.

all of the above. i really would love to see you go to an interview with braids. don't forget the camra!
i think the curly does look more "finished" though...but i agree with cristie - i think it's the layers that doesn't work with it straight, but maybe try flipping the ends with a big round barreled curling iron.. that way it's still straight but the ends are doing something.
k bye.

Braids, Baby, All the Way!! Nah....just joshin' ya. I like curly, too.

You are gorgeous either way!! I vote for curly though. Share some of your hotness with the rest of us, will ya??? :)

You're hair is just gorgeous any way you do it. I agree that the curly softens your face more. So I vote for curly, even though I like it all.

Well, I'm gonna be one of the oddballs and say that I like it straight!

I love it curly, to .. just depends on where you're going/what you're doing ...

The straight is fun (and I think it makes you look younger!) However, in saying that - I don't mean that the curly hair makes you look old! So, don't mis-interpret!!! :) I just think the straight hair is fun!

Both are absolutely gorgeous though!

I vote for braids - they will give you a look of innocence.

And when you take them out, then you will have curls, curls, curls.

It can only be a win-win situation, right? ;-)

CURLY- looks soft and more professional for sure.
I'm heading to get my haircut today and if my printer were working I'd print your picture and take it with me :)

Anonymous said...

I like curly. :) Can you make my hair look like that?!?

Ansbaughmom said...

I think both look great-yeah I know I am no help-but I think you have gotten a lot of input on this one!!

Scrappy Girl said...

I think you look great with your hair curly BUT I also like the straight because it makes me think of all the music you like so I think it would be good to go with your mood.....soft, mildly professional OR fun rocker chick! LOL!

I am currently working the "keep it back in a ponytail so the kids don't pull it out or stick things in it." Probably the extreme opposite of both your options.

I spend many a day with my expensive straightening iron, but on you I love curly!! Now tell us your secret......... curling iron?? We must know! :)

Anonymous said...

You do take a lot of pictures of yourself - I wish I was that secure :)

Anyways, I love the curly look. You really do need to tell us how you do it. I try to get curls like that and they fall out so fast.

Braids are really cute too :)
