Wake Me Up When September Ends

In an effort to squeeze in every milliliter of fun on the last weekend of summer before school starts, we went to see the fishies... And let me just say 8,421 billion people had the same idear as Country Girl...
But I did not get crabby..No siree Bob...I would never want my eyebrows to look like this...Lord knows I already need botox. But the Twerps had an amazing time... and were mesmerized through most of the trip.
One of the highlights of the trip was seeing a MAN in a tank...wow -- like we'd never seen ourselves a real live HUMAN before. Forget the fact there are whales and sharks and penguins...the busiest tank at the aquarium was the one with the HUMAN...amazing.
Here is the Beluga Whale...and she spoke to me...I was totally like Dorey on Finding Nemo. Eldest Twerp acted like she did not know me. I just talked louder.
And these sharks were huge and EVERYBODY AND THEIR COUSIN'S DOG were takin pics

But then I saw this little guy and no one was noticing him cause there where like a gazillion cool huge sharks...and I could tell he needed attention...and therapy -- but I could only provide attention.
Had anyone ever takin his pic...Sure there were mounds of photo albums in the cedar trunk of all his OLDER siblings, but what about him...Oh, wait, are we talking about the fish...cause this is kinda like my childhood -- I can relate...So I snapped away. I think it made a difference. I will email him the shots and he can hang them in the tank for the big ol sharks to swim by and then he can say nah nah nah nah boo boo. Oh how I digress.
This was Baby Twerp's fav...we could have stayed here all day...but I was still sniffling over the poor abandoned oscar fish.
Eldest Twerp petted a sting ray...and I made her immediately go wash her hands, cause you never know what kind of germs those things can carry. She stuck them back int he tank and sloshed them around...next time I will be clearer.

Here was Middle Twerp's fav...
As he yelled ''Dane-ju, Dane-ju.'' in his Crocodile Hunter voice.
I am just glad he did not do it by the sting rays, ya know what I am sayin?

My fiance also speaks to our son in the Dorey "whale" voice. It cracks me up every time! Although, this has only taken place in the privacy of our home. If he were to do this in public, I'm sure I would also act like I don't know him!

I've been there! It is really, really cool. My favorite thing is the whale sharks. Amazing.
