Eldest Twerp has had a rough time of it this week. Moving has started to become a reality and the fact that we are not going back seems to have sunken in. She is homesick and having a tough time of fitting in. So, when I picked her up from school Friday, we ate some homemade chocolate chip cookies and then went playing.
Of course her brothers also had a good time and showed off their dare devil side. 
Uhm, Ex-squeeze me? A-baking powder? ...[name that movie]. Baby Twerp must have not had enough cookies. Lordy-be. 
So I figured I better feed these Twerps off to our fav Mexican restaurant we went...
and we ate...
and ate...and ate...and my pants shrunk.
Then, ET had a softball game.
In which I thank the Lord above that she won...
because that of course made the day...That and the sand sandwich Baby Twerp made for her. We are all affectionate like that and all. 
Next up....rock wall and pedis. I hope this makes her world a little more secure. But I think to guarantee it we should get pedis once a week -- for Eldest Twerp and all. It is a sacrifice I am willing to make. Amen.

I hope she can have an easier time of it and that she finds some good friends to fit in with.
aw i was about her age the first time we moved..it was really rough on me as well, it took me about three months to adjust to the new school. She will do great though, Im sure the fact that she is invovled in a sport will help her make friends and ease into a new situation.
Party on, Wayne. Pedicures ALWAYS make me feel better. They are magic you know! She'll come around and get in the groove of her new life soon. Bless her heart! It is hard to move but next year at this time it will be a very different story! Just takes time. And in the mean time there is always pedicures and mexican food!

i'm glad she is doing better! do you know i have NEV-ER had a pedi? i do my own, don't be thinking my feet are all gnarly or anything... i just have issues with other people touching my feet and all.

marchelle -- i was like 26 before i had my first one...and i am all about letting ppl do it now....it was totally uncomfortable at first...now i embrace it for the princess within
