Obama, Rumors, and The Pledge

I am not FOR any candidate at this time. I still fall in that 10% of undecided voters. I really can be persuaded either way at this point. However, upon the comments from my Sarah Palin post; I did some research. Please play the videos below.

I know I am not the BRIGHTEST voter out there, nor do I think I am a leading expert on any political subject.

But one thing I promise myself to be is INFORMED. I will check out what people say. I will listen. I will find the truth. And then, and only then, will I decide. Please. Please do the same. Cause I BIG PINK FUZZY HEART WITH GLITTER LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOU!! Thank you for making me better and more informed.

PS This is it. I promise. Now back to Twerps and goats and inadequate job hunting and road trips. I know these things MUCH better. XXXOOO

I apologize for my previous rant on the last post. I realize I lashed out at Cristie, and that was unfair. I just get SO frustrated when people believe the lies that are continually perpetrated and mindlessly regurgitated within our country. Please step back everyone, stop looking at the package, and start looking at the substance and the truth...

Thank you for posting this. I think it clears up at least one issue about which people may have been misinformed.

CG, I love reading your blog. I look forward to checking my reader to see if you have posted something. These videos, however, clear up nothing. They do not reference the times when the senator would not place his hand over his heart, recite the pledge, or where an American flag pin. I'm starting to think you support this man as the next leader of our great country. He is not ready, he associates with known terrorists, and other than being a somewhat eloquent reader of teleprompters, is not worthy of being in our history books. The way he carelessly runs through the pledge makes me sick. And the senate video shows me nothing than some well trained pages. Please stick to the lighter side of things so that I can continue to enjoy your blog. Thank you.

dear annon - thanks for your kind word. i accept and love all here on dreams of a country girl. these videos were not intended to CLEAR up stuff. rumors had it that barack obama would not say the pledge of alligence...i think these show differently.

I am not saying who i am supporting because i have not decided at this point and time. I do accept all here...but the only request i have is that we also respect all. there is no right or wrong...but KNOWING why you believe what you believe is important. i think you have a good grasp of your beliefs and I think that is great. i commend you .

but again, the videos are TO INFORM not endorse

i read anon's comment earlier and didn't say nothin. even though i wanted to. but i didn't. i thought about it some more and then i thought, you know, i should comment back that it doesn't matter if CG DOES support obama, i don't, and i still love her even if she decides to. and then i thought about how it takes more than one political party to run this big show, or else it would be a communist state, and i thought about how all CG did was post some youtubes of obama praying and saying the pledge, which is nice, even though we've all heard the rumors, it was nice to see the other side of that coin, and then i thought about how rude it was that someone would tell CG what to write on her own blog, and to do so anonymously, and how i wanted to say, if you dont like it, dont read it and she is entitled to write about whatever she wants and she even gave a diplomatic response even though i would have either been snotty or just not have published the comment.

but instead of saying all those things, i will just say 'WHAT-EVA! THAT WAS RUDE MAN!'

oh golly. seems as if people so easily want to believe lies about people they don't support anyway. first, obama got in trouble for supporting his minister (a Christian church he attended for many years) and then he's accused of being a supporter of muslim terrorists. i'd much rather get 'into it' over the big issues concerning this country like the nearly 800pt drop in the US stock market today!

Kelso-Winter, why put it so lightly that Obama "got in trouble" for supporting his minister.. his minister was a racist, that publicly denounced the US, hiding behind a pulpit and Obama was a member of his church for 20 years.. don't you think after 20 years of supporting a minister that kind of means you beleive what he has to say?!? And then all of the sudden because the world was let in on what was said by the minister Obama supported, he suddenly did not like his minister's teachings, all the sudden after 20 yrs. Hmmmmm....
