OMG, I am so sorry she is having a hard time. Have been there with my now 9-year old, who is now doing much better, but it was rough for a while. I hope it all resolves quickly, she deserves to have friends and be serene. It's just heartbreaking to see your child go through that.

OH! Bless her little heart! That breaks my little heart! Tell her I will be her friend! This age is soooo hard and kids can be soooo mean! We have so been through this! I hope things get better for her! Hang in there! Brighter days are ahead!

Oh CG - that face brought tears to my eyes. I remember days like that. At her age it seems like you'll never get past it. Give her a big hug from me.

Oh, I so want to hug Someone! Give her a big, cuddly, squishy one for me. And a kiss on the head! Make her brothers bring her dandelions from the backyard or even from the neighbor's yard if necessary!

My 4 girls said they would love to be her friend or even pen-pal (suggested by my oldest). We are all sending (((HUGS))) to her.

She is just like her mama...wears her heart on her sleeve...and I totally identify with that.

Maybe you need just a girls' day out with ET (Especially Treasured) ...shopping, lunch and a pedicure. Possibly even invite another "nice" girl along. You could even do this at your house. Have IJ take the men of the house on an adventure.

Sending "virtual" hugs your way.

Bless her heart, see is bringing me to tears. She has had a lot of changes and it would be hard for anyone, no matter what age, it will all work out.

That is so sad...I hate when they have problems at school. I feel so helpless. I want to solve all their problems, but sometimes I can't. Sometimes I want to drive to school and give some of the kids lectures on being nice.

I hope things straighten out for her soon. Bless her heart.

This probably won't help one bit but tell her that Michael Phelps was bullied a bunch as a kid and now look who's laughing all the way to the bank! So when things are dark and gray...
hey..are there girl scouts down there? sending virtual hug and a Strawberry starbucks her way..

We know exactly how she is feeling.. my oldest is 12 and it's a rough time! Last year in 6th grade it was the worst! This year it's much better (so far!). She'll be in my thoughts and prayers! I know it hurts us moms more than them most times.. it will be ok!

i cried every day of 5th grade. 2 girls were bullying me over a boy i didn't even like. now one of them is a "dancer" (and not at the high dollar place either) and has like 14 kids and the other one is single & can't keep a man because she is a miserable hateful wench with no friends except for her mom.

wow. what a wonderful description of them i gave! but, my point is, they made my life miserable for an entire year, and here i am with a wonderful life, and theirs, not so much!

whatever is bothering her now will pass, and she will come back from it. she is a beautiful girl with a great family and one day it will all blow over and she'll be fine!

I'll get in trouble for this but all I thought of when I saw the pics was "Mommy Dearest II" - but sometimes pics are better than hugs. Sometimes! You're a goober.
