We slithered our way to the Zoo Friday evening. 
A little pre-presidential debate fun. Ya know, to help the time pass by. Cause the debates were almost as exciting as Christmas. 
If you will notice, I was wearing my SUPER BIG bag - just in case if at the last minute my country called for me to make a quick trip to Washington DC to kidnap John McCain and run him to Mississippi and all. Anything for my country. I big pink fuzzy heart with glitter love her. 
But while I was awaiting the call, we decided to have a little bit of fun. Everyone wanted to go see the lions, cause they have THREE new baby cubs. But the family rule is everyone has to be a FIERCE lion before we can entire the lions' den. Why? Cause I am the mom and I can make up rules like that at any given moment. Don't like it? Have your own kids. I kid. I kid.
Middle Twerp looked a little too sweet 
so we made him repeat...
And Baby Twerp...well what can I say? He is a lover, not a fighter.
They were completely UNimpressed with my fierce lion look.
They said I looked like a goofy lion.
What can I say? I do goofy so much better than scary.
Finally they let me slide by. 
And off we went to see the happy lion family.
And they were PRECIOUS!
Then we digressed and saw these. Which led to questions. Lots and lots of questions. Like, "Momma, why are they on each others backs?"
Moving right along please.
This sign makes me giggle every time. It has this sign.... 
And then below a mirror....HELLO! Funny!
Next I wanted to see the otters. I just love those cute little old otters. Middle Twerp helped us find the way...

Next on to the NAKED MOLE RATS.
Yes, I said naked mole rats.
This panda just had a baby - three weeks ago. 
It now weights a pound. Eldest Twerp could not believe it was a WHOLE POUND. Uhm, exsqueeze me????? Have I mentioned what squeezed forth from my loin during MY labor and delivery????? We are talking 5 and 6 pounds sister......
I just love the zoo. It is so educational.

and i liked the lion pictures, btw, even if your twerps didn't.
What a great way to spend the day with your kids. We haven't been able to find the time to go yet this year. Oh well, next year we'll try harder.

So fun! Is that the Atlanta Zoo? Been there many times! You read my comment where I said I live ne of atlanta from 1987-1989. Moved from OKC to there;) I loved it! Are you liking it more?
bring Twerps to canada. .we have new baby elephant, gorilla and giraffe ALL at our zoo! i LOVE otters..i otter be one..
