Ask and I Shall Tell...Seek and You Shall Find...Knock and We Can Have a Glass of Wine Together

These trees have absolutely nothing to do with this post. I just really like them. And they is in my backyard. So I thought I would share.

Anyhoo, all this political talk has given me a bad case of hives. So let's move on to something completely boring and as UNintersting as it comes.
Oh honey child, you guessed it. An all new episode of ASK COUNTRY GIRL.

You got questions, I got answers. Anything you wanna know. I shall spill the beans. The only off limit things are my weight and bra size. Don't even go there.

So ask away. But before you do...Help a sister out.

1. Kathy Zeeland Green
2. Nine West Red
PS The Kathy Zeeland Green has a matching wallet.
So either leave me your questions in the comments or, as always, you can always email me at
I LOVE YOU ALL...go forth and question me. But be nice.

XXXOOO,
CG

TOTALLY #1 - Kathy Zeeland Green. Red is played out. Green is the new black.

How tall are you?

What do you want for Christmas?

When are you going to take the cake survey off your blog?

That is all.

Oh I'm brimmin' over with questions. Maybe I should email ya. And neither of those purses is big enough BTW. But I'm only trying to tell you what to do 'cause you're asking. I'd go for a winter white or better yet one the color of those gorgeous leaves on your tree. Back to all my questions:
What year did you graduate high school?
Would you consider doin' a video blog...I'm dying to hear you talk? Do you have an accent?
How has blogging changed your life?
Are you close to your mother?
What is your favorite all time accessory?
What celebrity does IJ remind you of?
I could do this alldaylong.

I do love a red purse, but I agree that it's been overdone. I choose the green one. It's terrific!

first, that is a gorgeous oak tree you have there in your back yard. I'm a bit of tree hugger, so you know I can tell you all about how they get to be about 40 feet at maturity. Yours looks like it is almost there. They have a very hard dense wood and while it seems to be in and out of vogue for furniture, it makes some of hte heaviest and sturdiest furniture you'll ever pass down to your great grand children.

okay, second, I think that is awesomely kewl what IJ said on your blog last night and thought I'd rather pout today, he is right, we need to lift up and support our president elect, even if we didn't vote for him.

Third, I had a green purse last fall and I have to say it was so versatile and I am the type to carry one purse and never change it, until a new one catches my eye and I loved my green one so much that I kept it and will probably use it again, which I never hardly ever do.

And I need to work on my run-on sentences.

oh p.s. a question:

Did you come from a home with a career mom?
either way, how did her working or not working outside the home influence your decisions in life about working?

Maybe you've already revelaed that but I haven't read ALL your archives.

Oh I love the ask and tells that you do!!

What are YOUR hobbies? As in, when you get time alone or away from the twerps, and the blog, lol, what do you prefer to do?

Do you read? If so, what types of books?

Since moving to your new town, in your new state, in your new time zone, have you acquired the southern drawl...I mean, accent?

Are you permanently in your new town, etc. or is another move a possiblity in the future?

Have fun!!!

What traditions does your family have at Thanksgiving and Christmas?

What is your favorite holiday?

What is your favorite dessert to make?

What is your favorite bedtime story to read to your twerps?

I love when you do ask CG. You are so gracious with letting us all know everything about you!!!!

Hope you have a great day.

First of all...AMEN TO IJ's POST!!! It is surely time to show this country that we don't need government to solve our problems and help our fellow Americans...we need to help each other instead. And I completely agree that we need to pray for our new president elect. It is our duty. ABSOLUTELY.

Next, I have written a cheer for you...
Green, Green
Go for the Green.
It's the cutest bag
that I've ever seen.
It has a wallet for your cash,
and the red one's the color of a rash.
GO GREEN!

Lastly, questions.
1. Have you had any more nightmares about nerdy octopuses hiding under your bed?
2. What is your favorite wine to drink?
3. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
4. If you could only wear one pair of blue jeans for the rest of your life, what brand and what cut would they be?

ooh I'm so glad you're taking question cause I have them!

First of all, what were you doing at age 25? (I just celebrated my bday so I'm curious what people were doing at that point in life) And second, what do you think about vaccines?

PS - the green one :)

What are your views on homeschooling?

Where in GA do you live? Cuz I'm in NE SC and I could SO bring the wine! Or you could come stay the weekend up here. Srsly! Come over to my blog and have a look!

IJ & Twerps invited too!

Last one: Where do you get the music for your blog? I come into work, check your blog and then minimize it for the rest of the day just so I can listen to all the very versatile stuff you got there. I’m not kidding!

Love the green. I love all green, but especially green purses and especially THAT green purse!

(Though I just bought a red Nine West a few weeks ago.)

1. On average, how much do you spend at your hair appointments?

I've got my roots and my pocket book on my mind, obviously.

2. Are you discreet when you get pictures of everything? Or do you just pull out the big ol' DSLR and ask people to smile?

Oh, girlfriend, I do like the shoes. Since you like shoes....my favorite pair(s) are the silver ones I picked up in Lincoln, NE over the summer, along with the yellow marigold ones and the plaid ones, and, I'll stop there. I likey da shoe too. Now to the purse. My favorite is the green - I'm in love with green now that I have grown up. I also think everyone needs a red purse for when she wants to be daring and bold. I love Brighton purses -the only thing bad about them is they never wear out! Of course any sista can buy more than one. Love your blog, love the fact that you have experienced motherhood both ways. What a blessing for you all.
I have 3 grandgirls and am anxiously awaiting the 4th next summer.

As to our new president next year, may he never have to make the decision with his girls on abortion or having a baby. He might think differently were he to walk in a young mothers shoes.

A couple of other blogs that melt your heart are Bring the Rain and mycharmingkids.net. Such faith as these women have and share.

Wait, one more:

What of the goats?

Anonymous said...

I like them both equally well.

What is the story on Eldest twerps adoption? And I know this isn't technically about you, but how long has IJ been inlisted?
TTFN!

P.S. Loved IJ's post. I was kind of pouty, too. But ya know what? God is in control. Nuff said!

Just found your blog
Question...
Which purse has the most pockets to put stuff? Green or red dosen't really matter if green is the new black that a reader said I would take the other...Why be like anyone else!

Anonymous said...

What sorority were/are you a member of? What college? If you have answered that, sorry I was absent that day. :)

Love both bags!

I really need to see the inside of the purses. I'm all about inside pockets and practicality.

edie said...

I am so too lazy to email....and i love that tracie needs to see the inside of the purses.
My next question is....you live in Gawja? Girlfriend... I'm in Tennessee.....singing Rocky Top as we speak. We're nearly related. Okay that wasn't a question.
My next question is.....what's your favorite movie/actor/actress? Okay that was 3 questions.
My last question is....what are your favorite jeans? Brand, not size of course.
My second last question is...what blogs/websites are your favorites?
My third last question is....do you listen to talk radio? Which show/s? I'm a pest today. Too much caffeine....not enough sleep.

I love your blog, its so cute and refreshing and always optimistic. It's a breath of fresh air! I mean how much more can a girl ask for? You talk politics, shoes, bags, family and everything in between!
