I Need Your Help

Cause I know nothing about anything and you all are the smartest most creative people in the world.

But I need help. In buying a Christmas gift. For my boss. Who lives in another state. And I have known for 4 weeks. And is Venezuelan. And likes country music. And Miami football. So we are like totally alike and all.

I almost always buy gifts for people like this at redenvelope.com. And I LOVE them. And they gift wrap BEAUTIFULLY! And I have always had the best luck with the QUALITY of the gift. But nothing is making my skirt fly up.

But I don't want to get something standoffish -- like a gift card. But I don't wanna get something too personal like boxers or briefs.

So help....ideas? Thoughts? HELP! Remember -- he is my BOSS. He has a GREAT sense of humor. He can is NOT technologically savvy -- like not at all ....but he is VERY smart and sharp and witty and EXTREMELY a people person. He travels A LOT. He has three kids and a beautiful wife...and the gift will HAVE to SHIP!

Give me your best thoughts!

I thought about a clear pass..since he travels SO much. It allows you to NOT have to wait in line at the airport security. You can clink on the link and check it out. Is that too standoffish? Too impersonable? HELP!

geez, I am not much good at this, except to say that just make sure your office doesn't do a group gift before going solo.

I tend to think unless you have a personal friendship with your boss, that a personal gift is kind of over the top, not expected, maybe even kind of awkward. But heck, maybe I have been wrong about it all these years! ha ha! Might explain a few events in my career. hmm?

WOW! That Clear Pass sounds great! If he travels that much through any of those airports, he's going to bless you everytime he DOESN'T have to wait in line.

How about a Miami Dolphins business card holder? I am sure he has business cards. Maybe you could even have it engraved.

Just a suggestion. Good luck.

i dont think a clear pass is too standoffish at all! are you certain he doesn't already have one? if so, i'd go with that. i think its something he would appreciate and also he'd appreciate that you thought of it. i NEVER travel but i can only imagine how annoying security lines can be!

Does he drink wine? Our boss received a pair of engraved stainless steel wine bottle stoppers for christmas one year. They were also something his wife could enjoy. Cannot remember the web-site they were ordered from though. Sorry.

Books on CD are always great for travelers. I-Tunes gift cards are great for getting some new music if he has an i-pod. Seasons of his favorite TV show to watch while flying would also be great if he carries a laptop.

Let us know what you decide!

What about donating $100 in his name to his favorite charity or a cause dear to his heart. Then he'll know (just like the rest of us) about your big pink-fuzzy-glitter heart :)
