Hell, Fire, and Brimstone

There is nothing that could surprise me about my boys. Nothing. Well, almost nothing.

I awoke this morning to little boys pullin and tuggin on me to get out of bed...I rolled over and mumbled something about 10 more minutes and slipped in and out of consciousness thru giggles and squeals. Soon things got loud enough to rouse me from my slumber because fear now outweighed exhaustion.

Once my drowsy eyes could focus enough to see....I shook my head cause I just had to be sleepwalking... and this had to be a dream. Cause WHY would my God fearin boys be slidin down the stairs NAKED?

All I am sayin is sometimes parenting is easy -- Sometimes you need to say nothing. Cause some lessons in life are learned best by experience. And I have two words here ~
Carpet Burn. Amen.
And I just looked over and said to them Jesus is watching you. And that led to this:
Soon, Middle Twerp was preaching Hell, Fire, and Brimstone.
Complete with an invocation. The only thing missin was the passin of the collection plate.
Baby Twerp got saved twice.
But we are still workin on Middle Twerp. He is our prodigal son.

That is too cute! And all i could think was, "you've got light carpet and this could give new meaning to the term 'skid marks' . . ." hee hee ~sorry~

LOL! I was thinking oh my slidding on the front side of a boy may not be a good thing! Hopefully there was no, (cough) permanent damage! LOL

Too funny! But boys will be boys. Enjoy! I agree the fun never stops, but I think that's a good thing. They are so cute.

I wonder which one of them looked at the other and said,"you know what would be fun? sliding down the stairs" the other saying "Yep and if we did that naked it would be AWESOME!"
That would have been an interesting conversation to overhear.

Maybe they were around the frat boys too much. But MT is demanding some rededication. "Is there anybody here who has disappointed the Lord this weeK? Who has violated the Lord's law?" And poor BT; guilty on all counts.
