Lady Country Girl

You just mention the thought of a sword and I have two boys that will come running. I swear they are reincarnated knights. Or cross dressers. I chose Knights though for blogging purposes. Anyhoo, we went to the Medieval times. Ya know, where they act like you are back in the Renaissance times and you have to eat with your fingers like savages?
It really was no different than the norm for us.
But the thing that had me from the moment I walked in was the Blue Knight. Oh, the Blue Knight (insert swoonage)
And as luck would have it, we were assigned to the Blue Knight's section. And I cheered and screamed and watched my Knight be ever so brave as he jousted.
And fought off the evil Lords of the day, I began to feel a little flutter. He began to rule. He was by far the strongest most noble knight in the land. And I let no inhibition take hold as I shouted my cheers to my knight in all his glory.
Then he was to his last challenge before he could claim victory, and in part to my encouraging hoots and hollers from the stands, he broke forth in victory.
And was awarded an honor. An honor bestowed upon him from the Queen. She tossed him a flower and let him chose the maiden of his liking from the kingdom.
And as he rode gallantly through the stadium in search of his one true love. He kissed his flower and set his sights to the love of his life. The one girl that made his heart flutter. And he kissed the flower and tossed it to his one true love in a symbolic gesture....
I know. It was dark.
And I jumped over three girls and a small child to catch it. But I try not to focus on the details here. I am a big picture kinda girl.
But someone never even noticed. Uhm, IJ? IJ? I think I might run off with the Blue Knight, is that okay? Hello? Hello?Just call me Lady Country Girl.

Oh, I would have probably reached out and let the knight lift me up behind him on that big stallion and we'd ride off in the sunset...
