Chico

Meet Chico. He is our new pet. And he gives me the heebie geebies. And makes me feel like someone is watching me. And that he might get in my bed. And crawl up my leg. Or be on my toilet seat when I sit down. Or worse yet IN the toilet and JUMP UP on my hiney when I sit down. Oh Lord save my ever lovin soul from this fate of mothering boys. And Chico makes me squeal like a girl. Especially when he jumps from the second story balcony onto my newly highlighted hair. Amen. But we "rescued" him from the perils of our backyard. And $30 later, we had an entire habitat for him
We have been OBSESSED..OBSESSED I TELL YOU with Chico. Baby Twerp immediately named him. Cause he is in Spanish classes now. I thought it was a good idea to move on to Spanish since English wasn't woirkin out so well for us and all. Please don't judge me.

Anyhoo....I was all down with this new pet until Indiana Jones came home with lunch for Chico. Uhm, exsqueeze me....are those...uhm, uhh, GULP
LIVE CRICKETS?!?!?!?! Save me baby Jesus, save me Oprah, save me Tom Cruise. Lawsie Mercy on my ever lovin soul.
And they thought this was GREAT. GREAT!?!?!?! I passed out and came to and blacked out again. But it's too late. He is part of the family now. Chico and his cricket-filled belly.

Chico is actually rather cute - I bet you will learn to like him. He will eat any bugs that happen to find a way into your house.

I know how you feel! But my 5 year old daughter is obsessed because we have a frog in our swimming pool and nobody is allowed in and she "prepares for the birth of her tadpoles"! From the mouth of babes. . .

Chico is cute. From a distance. Like 3000 miles and a computer screen far away.

how did I miss this, All this time I thought Chico was a lizard??

I think you are a very creative mom, putting baby twerp into Spanish, give him options... now is not the time to restrict him to just one language! Seriously!
