This is where the adventure began, at least for me. This is where I fell in love. This is where I knew. This is where accepted I would doodle Indiana Jones on my Trapper Keeper forever.

This is where Indiana Jones took me right after Christmas a dozen years ago. It was snowing like crazy, it was well into the night. It was freezing. Marvin Gaye came on the radio. I said I loved the song. He stopped the car right here on this bridge, pulled me out and danced with me in the falling snow. I knew right then and I could not even believe that Indiana Jones might possibly think about liking me, kinda maybe. I swooned.
It was actually this bridge. But they have sense given the new one above. Yes, that is us...Progressive Indiana Rednecks....replacing bridges and protecting America and free trade and world peace. I always wanted my name spray painted by the one I love. How redneck am I? This was seriously my idea of romantic. I so wanted to be Cathy. And look how Todd put her name in cursive to make a little more feminine and to show how he feels about her. Print just did not represent her accurately. And notice the heart for the "o" in LOVE. How sweet is that????If there were an "i" I am most certain he would have dotted it with a heart. Todd is that kinda romantic guy. He has class.
I wonder if Tony still loves Wendi and if they have 2.1 kids and a dog. Named Buddy. And a car payment. I hope Tony still treats her right. She deserves it. Oh, how I wish I could just go back to that moment on that bridge that night. I would so bring a bottle of spray paint.
