Down on Main Street

Let's take a tour down on Main Street, shall we? Let's do it for Bob..he would like that.
We live like so right on Main Street....and I have noticed a little trend. See if you can find it. It is kinda like Where's Waldo. But without Waldo. Other than that, it is just like it. Here is the church we pass downtown before we get to the square. I like it. No, I love it. It sings to me. Not Canon in D either but In da club. Ahhh, don't look at me like that...I just tell it like it is. Then, these little beauts line the street. I mean seriously, line the street. Hmmm....My fav flowers...aren't they the friendliest flower?
Middle Twerp after some wild blackberries.
Then these are bordering the square.....See what I must live with? I am a lover, not a fighter.
Where else on earth is there a combo store of Civil War Surplus and Herbs. It is like a fine chocolate and seafood store...or like Mexican seafood with camphophenic. I am just sayin...they don't go together. And then a little more of these. Do you see a trend here? And these trees are EVERYWHERE. Any crazy hippy tree knower that can identify these? And we can not do without Baby Twerp and Middle Twerp having a little disagreement. It is like brother against brother...Notice one is in gray? The other has on blue pants. Coincidence? I think not. The flags are affecting them.

Listening To: Landing in London by 3 Doors Down

Thinking About: Did you ever have the feeling that you wanted to go, and still have the feeling that you wanted to stay? Can anyone name that movie?

Quoting: I have been standing on the side of life, watching it float by. I want to swim in the river. I want to feel the current. Can anyone name that book?

Good for you for applying! After my yard sale tomorrow morning, oh and my nap 'cause I'm getting up at 4:30, I'm gonna finish up both of my apps.

I so have my fingers crossed for you...

Now for a comment relevant to THIS post...

Based on the little glimpse of the leaves, I think the tree is a magnolia???? I grew up north of San Francisco - is that hippy enough for you? : )

Based on those photos - minus the flags - I KNOW you must live in Stars Hollow, CT - Did you ever watch the Gilmore Girls? My FAV!

So.. how about The Man who Came to Dinner circa 1942 (probably before your parents were probably born) and Nancy Horan's Loving Frank... now why are you thinkin' of that? gotta know..gotta know.

WOW - I am impressed...What do you think if the movie?

Book -- Just finished it. Have you read it? When I read I book I getcompletely engrossed. I am there. Seriously.

I actually stayed in a hotel designed by FLW a few months ago and then I picked up this book cause it was on the Target booklist and I have a severe obsession with Target and I was totally obsessed with the book and read it in one day while my Twerps ran around hungry and naked in the street saying Momma? Momma? Where is my Momma? But Mamah....

Oh Mamah....Didn't you just love her? Didn't your heart go out to her? Didn't you feel her passion, her pain, her love, her entire self? Oh Mamah....and then at the end...I cried...I wept...I felt...Oh, I have to go now.....

The flag that you thought looked like it had a target, I believe is a White Supremacist Flag. If I am correct, I can't believe anyone would actually hang something so hateful and disrespectful.

Upon further research, I think you are correct. There is a man that own's a store downtown that is just that. I cropped. I AM not at advocate of any type of prejudices. I love and accept all. And tolorate no hate or judgment.

Yes, that tree was a magnolia. What you are seeing is what is left after the blossom petals fall off.

Good luck on the job application. Maybe it will lead to something.

Oh boy, it looks like you're living in the midst of a 'revolution'! I detest the confederate flag... I always think that the people who fly it or wear it or drive with it on their cars must have never read a history book in their lives.
Hey, you could always sneak up to town and hide them...that would be a little "Felony Melanie" (aka Sweet Home Alabama). :)
