Wink Wink...(SS)

I took the kids to the lake today. (Have I mentioned it is 10 minutes from my house and has become my saving grace and now I want to slip a ring on its finger and call it mine...mine...all mine? {insert demonic laugh}) We were the only ones there for the first three hours. But then...

Then a man came strolling down the beach and said, "Hey, there are some Canadian Geese coming over this way, you might want to get something for the kids to feed them."
"Oh, you just saw them?" I asked.

"Yeah, I was coming from the bathroom and they were crossing the path. Can't do number two in the lake, ya know what I am saying?" and then he leans over and winks.

Someone please tell me how I should respond to this. I just winked back and gave him a BIG CHEESE BALL grin. I felt like we had shared a moment with the wink and all.
Then he was gone just as mysteriously as he appeared, but the geese did show up.And we fed them the crust off of our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Sometimes they would nip our fingers, but as I always say...

"You've got to expect a few losses in a big operation like this."
Eldest Twerp was not phased. She went back to her sand castle making. She cannot be bothered with National Geographic moments like these. Sheesh!
Baby Twerp was his normal non adventurous self and only endured a few moments. When this goose chased him around hissing...I found him here.
And I could NOT lure him away.
Then I took a closer look at this vine? Oh Lord have mercy on my soul...Is this poison ivy? Anyone? I am no boy scout. When I returned Middle Twerp had decided to just let them pick their own crust off the sandwiches. You can see how this ended. Now that brought Baby Twerp out of hiding....Someone messin with his food is fightin words. After the geese went back to their respective nests, an amazing act of God occurred. If you have faith doubts and issues, this will cause you to fall to your knees and cry Holy Holy Holy.

Eldest Twerp decided to build a baby pool for Baby Twerp. Is that not the sweetest? And Baby Twerp was right there cheering her on.
Then...as the heavens parted and the angels started flying around His throne, this miracle occurred...
And then this....
I was so excited I almost had to go to the porta potty...Wink Wink....

FYI - any time a man winks at you while covertly referencing his poop - he is TOTALLY flirting with you.

And WAY TO GO Baby Twerp!
Is he potty trained, BTW? My boy is 3 next month and I'm having a heck of a time.

First, men do not flirt with me...just does not happen...I think I let off a scent that makes them go away

Second, someone should tell me NEVER to talk about poop if they are trying to pick up a gal...we were definatley not at that level...now there does come a time in which you can tell a girl your burger from lunch did not settle and you GOTTA GO...but not at the first wink, know what I am sayin?

Third, Baby Twerp was pee pee trained and then we moved and I put diapers back on him...I think I will start when Eldest and Middle go back to school in August. He turns 3 in late August. Something happens at three that makes it click...trust me...I wish someone would have told me to wait with the others...it would have saved me a lot of grief.

Yea, I think if that guy was flirting with you, he needs a new pick up line! Yea for BT!

Ok, Baby Twerp is REALLY SMART hiding from the geese. he is a genius! I'm just saying! Those babies will run after you and do a heck of a lot more than nip if they get mad. Been there, done that as a kid on the family farm. We used to try to be nice and feed them at my uncles, and when they didn't get it fast enough they would get ticked off and really chase us and attack. Baby Twerp is very wise hiding behind the non-poison ivy bush!
Looks like they are really enjoying the new digs.
I have been stopping by to read and enjoying the photos and such but haven't been commenting as much on others blogs lately, but I do always enjoy yours!

Yippee for Baby Twerp. That's quit an accomplishment for him. The man needs a new pick up line in the worst way. If he thinks that's flirting he's spent way to much time in the porta potty.

Aww, that was so cute, Baby Twerp getting his own little pool. And fetching water for it, too!
By the way, I liked how you ordered the flowered bedding set for Eldest Twerp, she'll love it! And hey, you need to give up some clues as to who you are stalking next, lol! ;)

Wow, aren't southern guys something? Proud of their poop, and they like to forewarn you about the peckers heading in your direction. LOL
