The Family Tree

Meet John. My great, great uncle. Need I say more? Do you now understand me a little better?

Family has always been extremely important to me and a great of pride. I grew up on the same farm as my great-great grandpa, who came over on a boat from Germany. He had 10 [I think] kids and this was one of them --John the bum. I love John the bum. There was also a doctor and lots of farmers and my great grandpa -- Thomas who we called Tat-taw...and he was my next door neighbor my whole life, but I relate most to John the bum. I mean the chickens loved him and animal have a sense about people ya know. Ya know, animals LOVE me, so I guess we can intelligent deduct that I am have a BRILLIANT personality, right? {name that commercial}

Oh, cool!!! I love old photos. I do genealogy... have you ever seen those Ancestry.com commercials? (Look them up on You Tube -- your post reminds me of that.)

Has anyone done your family history? You should start!

john's got him some nice chickens there! don't you love old photos? no one ever smiles...they either look hateful or depressed...
have you ever been on bossy's site and looked at her family tree link? that pic of her hateful great grandma or whoever she is makes me laugh every time!

They DO all look hateful and depressed. It's like they have competitions to see who can look the most bitter! Especially in group photos.

That's great! Despite the new playground equipment, you do have some room in that backyard for a chicken coop....

That is so funny. I love that the chickens just sit on his lap.
