My Mom's A Tennis Pro...

Guess what today is? Oh yea...I am so super stoked...it is the day for Silver Sneakers Yoga Class. So I have to be quick with this post and get out the door to all my friends. I decided to hold off a couple more weeks for the gifts...I do not want to seem to eager beaver. Is a beaver overly eager? These are the questions that plague me at nights.

But this will have to wait cause I have to update you all on the inner workings of my mundane life. Eldest Twerp is going to tennis lessons and she is actually pretty good. She is naturally athletic...yea, just like me..I am SO naturally athletic...I can just pick up a sportsie equipment thingy and be all like a pro in a matter of moments...yep a chip off the old block.
Anyways, her and Indiana Jones share a love and passion for basketball. She played last winter and this was their chance to bond and learn a sport together. Well, last night I took her downtown to play tennis with me. Since I made an attempt at playing in high school, she assumes I am really good...or at least partially knowledgeable, or mediocre, or proficient. It will be hard next week when her skills exceed mine. But we had fun this week...we are on the same level and all. [PS Not that it matters AT ALL, but I just thought I would throw in for free information that I won....Not that it matters or anything.]

Then a summer storm started to roll in so I decided to do something we both are REALLY good at...
Lanny from Simply Me in her sweet little ol self sent me the sweetest package with a Cold Stone gift card, Cold Stone Jelly Beans [all gone] and the most beautiful cards. I just love Lanny to pieces...and my thighs sing her praises.
Eldest Twerp always gets the same thing...she is so predictable -- mint...plain ol mint...no chocolate chips...nothing...just mint. I am too indecisive to get the same thing. I have to try all the flavors and combos and toppings cause I would hate to hurt their feelings and make them feel as though I have a fave...I try to spread my love equally. Why?Why you ask? Please don't try to figure me out, just love and accept me. It is a hard job, but someone has to do it. And I am a lover, not a fighter.

Off to hang with Margie and Suzie and a little senior citizen yoga. I am so excited. Seriously.

You have the most exciting life! Ice cream, trying all the flavors & TOPPINGS! "Danger" must be your middle name! Tennis & Hula Hooping? Both of which take the skills! of a "Ninja"!! Not to mention the slaying of all those "Melon Heads" Like a true "Sniper"! Now Silver Sneaker Yoga? Is there no end to your mission impossible skils? I envy you "Country Bond" I truly do!

I could go on FOREVER about cold stone but thought i'd give you a tennis tip instead: keep yer eye on the ball all the way to the racquet and follow through. then you'll be able to stay one jump ahead of E.T which is the point, eh? just kidding!!!!
