The Sound of Music and Creedence Clearwater Revival Weekend

In order to continue to spend quality time with Eldest Twerp this weekend (due to her terrible horrible very bad, no good day week month), we decided to do some of her favorite things. When we do a few of her favorite things, I always break out into song. Loud, embarrassing song. Cause I am so like that and all.

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles....

They are groaning and moaning at this point. So what is a mom to do? Why roll down the windows and belt it out a little louder, OF COURSE! For the kids' sake and all...I am a giver like that. Always about the kids...yep, that's me.

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so sad.

Yeah, I am pretty sure it helped and all.

Our first stop was the candy shop. She went in and I set her free...FREE! No boundaries, no price limit, no rules....I was a nervous wreck. She ended up choosing very wisely, young grasshoppa. And she even was thoughtful and purchased for other Twerps in her life.
She is such a giver. Oh Lordy-Be. I do not feel this was necessary.
Then we ate at a divine local restaurant she big pink fuzzy heart with glitter loves and got her FAV food.
Afterwards we were all FILLED TO THE RIM..with Brim. (Commercial anyone remember? Anyone? Anyone?)

And someone in their all out insane mind thought it would be good to challenge mom. "Momma, bet you can't catch us!"
Oh it was on like Donkey Kong. And a little Tickle Monster was just what I needed to burn off the 8,421 calories I had just consumed.
Of course, I am THE master of Tickle Monster and the first two went down pretty easy. Didn't even break a sweat.
But this little Twerp is stealth like I tell ya.
And that giggle....oh that giggle.
But it turns into a squeal...
all the way home... But alas, he is no still match for the mad Olympic skills of Country Girl.
He went down...DOWN DOWN DOWN!I can have no mercy. Join the other losers...in the little loser circle. Take your number, Baby Twerp.
That's me. Always building up their self esteem and confidence. It is a hard job, but somebody has to do it. What was up with us tonight?? Oh...I KNOW!
I see the bad moon arsing
I see trouble on the way.

Surely, you're not old enough to remember "Fill it to the rim - with Brim" - don't call me Shirley.
