Chels

I have known Chelsea for since she was an awkward preteen. It was hard for me to relate to her -- not because of her nose ring or her goth look -- but because I NEVER had awkward preteen days. Nope. Not me. Nev-a. Ev-a. I was the epitome of non-awkward coolness in my preteen days. Even well into my teen years, I nev-a hit that awkward stage. Nope. Not me. Always cool and collected.
Anyhoo, Chelsea and I always have had a connection and we have made it through bad boyfriends, bad friends, bad hair, and bad breath -- all in Mexico too. But one thing is for sure... She is as beautiful both inside and out.And she has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen. She cares for people....sees them for who they are, not what they have done. And as I have watched her grow and mature in my student group, I learned more than I taught. And I think her dad felt the same...
Just like Chelsea, her wedding was anything but typical.
And her toes were adorable....They looked like the stuff flying from my nose.
Her mom and her have such a precious relationship.
And this new man of her dreams appreciates her for all her tender-hearted loveliness.

Even Chels' cake held true to her personality.

Chelsea, I LOVE YOU. Remember to always see him as your hero and kiss him everyday...whether he deserves your beauty or not. No one could deserve such a precious accepting soul as you, but he is pretty close. Chels, RELAX, you will make a difference. You already have.
Be good. Take care. God bless.

what a cute couple - she is a beautiful girl - green toes and all!

and look at IJ officiatin! he was getting a little embarrassed about that kiss wasn't he?

and i have to say, that cake is gorgeous, even with the tim burton-esque bride & groom. i love that they obviously kept it to their own style rather than conforming to the typical wedding look.

She is beautiful--and what a sweet tribute to her.

And I think you and I had the same hair in high school. Oh yeah--who in the Midwest did not?

Is it just me, or does her new hubby look like Matt Damon?
