We Interrupt This Program For an Important Message From Eldest Twerp

Hi!! I'm Eldest Twerp. I have never done this in my life, but my mom thinks it's fun. And she invited me to write this. How are you guys(or gals)doing?

Guess what happened on my way home from school today? My mom said I was gonna ride the bus tomorrow and when she got home we would pack up and go to Disney World!!!!!!!!! I am like so excited. I can't wait.

Have any of you been to Disney World? We are going to Magic Kingdom. What do you think we should do first? I have never been, but since I know there is going to be rides I want to go on a twirly one. Do you know of any? What is your favorite ride? What are the names of the rides I should go on? Unless they are roller coasters, I am scared of them.

I have heard there are Disney characters there. And I want to meet Ariel. Although I know she is not real, but just a character. I bet the boys will want to see Robin Hood, Mickey Mouse and other little kid characters. But I won't tell them the secret that they are fake.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. This is along letter like my mom writes. I am laughing and smiling non stop. Even when I do my homework. Weird, huh?

So let me know your advise. Bye. Maybe I will talk to you later.

Hi ET!
How cool that you are getting the chance to blog! Fun. I know we don't know each other personally but it has been fun for me (and other readers) to get to know you & your family through your mom's wonderful blog posts! I want you to know that you are a very special person and are blessed to have a mom & dad who TRULY love you. I also want you to know just how much you are loved by Jesus. He knows everything about you and will NEVER leave you or stop loving you. No matter how tough things might seem, He is always there for you. Just hold on to Him.

I hope that you and your family will have a wonderful time @ Disney World. Relax and enjoy being together. Remember to eat AFTER the rides, not before!!!!

Oh, and can you give Dumbo a hug for me if you see him. (I know...he's not real but he's still cute.)

Miss Janice - thanks for the comment. i miss you too. And I can't believe you like rollar coasters.

Spanki - Thanks for the comment. Yes, I will tell you everything. The joke you made up was very funny. lol. Do you really want me to smell them? Cuz that is kinda gross.

Mishel, thanks for the comment, of course. Your advise was good. I know I don't know you very much either but really I donlt know any of these people. You seem like you have a good relationship with God. I do too. Thanks for your kind words because I was starting to get a little sad because I had bad day yesterday. And YES blogging is kinda fun.

Hi ET,
It's so cool that your Mom let you do a post. It can be addicting so watch out. :-)

I'm so excited for you and your brother's too that you get to go to The Magic Kingdom. I've only been to Disneyland here in CA but I know some of the same rides are at both places. Try Big Thunder Railroad, it's a mild coaster but so much fun. I don't like roller coasters either. Also, Pirates of the Caribbean is so much fun. My boy had to ride it like 10 times when we went. It's a Small World is cute, but the song will get stuck in your head for days. Splash Mountain is so much fun especially because you get wet. It may look like a long way down but it's fun.

I hope you enjoy your trip, tell Mom to take lots of pictures. Although I'm sure you won't need to remind her.

Hey ET,
When I went to Disnew World I started out with the Pirates of the Carribean ride. It is a boat ride and lots of fun! My favorite ride at Magic Kingdom is Space Mountain. It is a rollar coaster so you might not like it. It is inside and it is in the dark! I screamed alot, but I laughed alot too. I hope you have a great time!

hi ET!!! i am SOOOO excited for you to go to walt disney world!!! i've been there TWICE with my mom (and i'm 24!!) and i grew up next to Disneyland. i went almost every weekend. SERIOUSLY!! it is THAT FUN.

well for a twirly ride, you might want to try the buzz lightyear ride in tomorrowland. bc that twirls and goes up and down! super fun and i think the boys will like it too. you should DEFINITELY go on the mr. toads wild ride, and oh my goodness ...

you MUST go on peter pan!!! you have to start out from main street heading toward the castle. then you cross the draw bridge and pass RIGHT THROUGH the castle!! don't forget the PRINCESS shop on the left-hand side once you get in... it has tons of tinkerbell and princess things! it's my favorite :) then keep walking and you'll see prince arthurs stone and the sword in it right in front of the merry go round! (which you HAVE to ride!) and peter pan is to the right of that. the peter pan ride, you get to FLY. in a SHIP. it. is. SO. COOL.

wow i wish i was going too! but i will get to go in May with my mom. :) ET, you TOTALLY deserve this and i am SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

you have to have tons of fun and don't forget about Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella... adn Pooh and Tiger and all of the great characters you'll get to see. it is the BEST PLACE EVER!

Hey Girl! You are going to have a BLAST!!!! I have taken my 3 kiddos to Disney a few times and we all have our favorites in the Magic Kingdom. Splash Mountain, Big Thnder mountain RR, are really cool even though they have a roller coaster vibe. My littlest guy (age 6) loves them both. Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Carribean are a teeny bit scary but totally cool! The best place to see Mickey is at Toon Town fair and Ariel is close by there too. Can't wait to 'hear' all about it!! Don't forget to get some Mickey Ears!!

I'm so glad you're going to the House of Mouse. Serious Mickey (and Princess) love to you!
Make sure to go to Ariel's Grotto to meet her.
Alice's teacups are seriously cool too :) They spin!

Hugs and kisses. Lo's Mom

Disney World?! How cool is that!!! I've been twice but it seems like a million years ago! It is soooo soooo much fun!! What a wonderful Mom you have to surprise you with this trip! Take loads of pictures and ride the Teacups (if they are still there)! You can make them spin really fast! xoxoxo ~ Keli

Anonymous said...

ET, hope you had a blast at Disney world!! Let us know all the details. Your mother is such a great mom. :)

Kim said...

ET - I can't believe only one person has mentioned the Teacups! They are the spinningest (Is that a word?) rides in all of Disney! Be careful you don't barf all over though!

When I was a little girl, I went to Disneyland where my mom bought me a really long Mickey Mouse pencil with a really big and very cool eraser on the top. She made me go on The Pirates of the Carribean. I cowered in fear at the bottom of the boat and lost my eraser. I was mad at her the rest of the day.

When I turned a really big number a couple of years ago, I decided I wanted to spend my birthday at Disneyland. You know what my favorite ride is now? The Pirates of the Carribean.

I don't like roller coasters much either, but I do LOVE Big Thunder Mountain. It doesn't have loops or go upside down. I just goes up and down and side to side. It is really fun.

Be sure to post lots of pictures from your trip.

Oh, and tell your mom to "Knock 'em dead at her job interview!"

How cool is that???? Disney world! Is there anything better?! I love it's a small world ride. But I love scary ones too. I haven't been in years. Have a super blast! I heard the water park is cool???

Look at you go, Eldest! you've gotten a lot of people jazzed up with your first post ever! My advice is to be sure to go to bed EARLY so you and your brothers can get up FIRST thing each morning you're at Disney. The early bird gets the worm! Buzz Lightyear is really fun but if you can screw up your courage try the Rock 'n Roller Coaster ..ooh maybe that's at MGM? it's really mild and you can keep your eyes open and see all the fun guitar players. ENJOY..YOU rock!

Hi ET,
You are going to have a blast! My Dad worked for WDW growing up (yea, we went every week). And I still live only about 40min. from the place so I take my kids often. The roller coasters aren't too scary, you should try them. My 10yo daughter was afraid to go on them too the last time we went, but after she tried them, she loved them! Have a great time!

Dreams of a Country Girl said...

wendy -- Hey I am 10 too!! But I am not sure I will like the roller coasters. Let's see!!!!!

Thank you for the comments everybody. I leave in 8 hours. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ET. It's nice to hear from you. I've never been to Disney World. On my family vacations when I was your age, we always went to the lake. I know you like the lake, too because I saw your pics from last summer.

But if I were going to DW, I'd want to go to Epcot Center. I heard they have some really cool stuff there. But that was ages ago, so they might have even more cool things to do there now.

I hope you have a really great time and I'll be watching for pictures on your mom's blog.

Always remember, you are a precious girl and God loves you. He put an angel in your mom's life when she found you and I think He gave you one too!

Love, Miss Dana

ET,

Loved your writting! I am so happy for you and your brothers, I hope you all have a great time. We live two hours from Disney but don't go much, but I am taking the kids for Chrismas (but thats a secret!).

Take all kinds of pictures...

Hope to see you post again soon :)

The best ride I think is the Buzz Lightyear ride. Tell your mom to get her camera ready! It is like a shooting game. The boys will love it too! Before you go you should make an autograph book and have the characters sign on one page and then on the page beside it put the picture your mom takes while they are signing it. It's like a mini scrapbook. Be sure to leave the lefthand side blank for the picture though! You will go back and look at the pictures over and over because you will always want to remember the trip! Have fun and let us know how it goes and what your favorite ride was!

ET - I just want you to know that I think you are a beautiful young lady inside and out.

And your mom is almost as awesome as you. I have 4 daughters (12, 8, 7 & 5) and I can't forget my 16 year old son so I know parents are no where near as awesome or cool as our kids. But your mom is way up there on the charts for letting you post!

I'm sure you will have a blast on your trip and I can't wait to see all the pictures that you and your mom will be taking.

Wishing y'all a safe trip!

Hey-Sugarfoot,
I know it will be the trip of your life. You will remember things you see there forever. I remember when your momma went a long time ago. We had so much fun. When you get to the magic kingdom do a twirel for me. You always dance so beautifully. I wish I could be there too, but this time you need to just have family time. You are such a Blessing to me and my life hasn't been the same since I first saw you sitting on that airport floor waiting on me to get there. I love you. Get a ice cream while you are there and think of me.
Love you-G-paw!

Hi ET,
Tammy here... I grew up living just 30 minutes from Disney World! It is such a fun place, but you can never see it all in one day- it takes 2 or 3! ANyway, my favorite rides are "It's a small world" and "Thunder Mountain".. I like Space Mountain too but it's very fast and dark and scary! I hope you have a GREAT time and take lots of pictures for us.
