Look Out Boys ...

Let me tell you, there is something about this girl that has two little boys at my house smitten.

I can say broccoli is dee lish us and they will not touch it. Eldest Twerp simply walks by and sniffs it, and they think it is the food of the gods.

I can say bathtime and they fall to the ground writhing in pain and agony. ET can run the bath water and clothes go flyin off little bodies.

I demand all morning long that no one is leavin the house without their teeth brushed, and she simply pulls out some paste of toothness and their mouths look like little crocodiles.

The sun rises and sets in ET. It always has.

And tonight when everyone was snuggled all cozey in bed, I hear a door creak and some sleepy steps come my way...

Rubbing squinted eyes, Middle Twerp says to me,

"Is ET gonna get married?"

"Not for a long time, baby."

"No! Never. I don't want her to get married."

"OK. OK. Why not?"

"Cause some boy will take her away from our house and she won't read me stories."

Then as he turns his little hiney around to go back to bed, he mumbles below his breath,

"And I will cut him." Oh Lordy Be.

So...Doc says no more scary movies for him! Seriously, how sweet is that that he loves his big sis so much that he's willing to do time to keep her around!

That just made me laugh out loud!

I need him at my house. He'd get along well with my three punks.

ooooh lordy.... i can just see it now when prince charming, or should we say prince eric, comes to pick her up for a date, the two little twerps will be standing behind her with arms crossed and scowls on their faces. if there's anything more embarassing to a teenage girl than an overprotective big brother, it's an annoying little brother (i have one, i should know!)

oh, and just so you know...the boy calls toothpaste - "two faced"

That is too precious. My daughter, the middle of two boys, says it feels like she has two big brothers because they would give their opinion on boys she dated. They like the one she married and get along great.
