I went back to the ghetto today. It was like returning to the land that oppressed me. The land that kept me down. But I got ahold of myself and thought, it wasn't that bad...was it?Then I looked across the street at my neighbor's house. Just, FYI - It is not trash day. That is all I am sayin bout that.
I did check on the goats -- they were no where to be found. I have no idea. I might lose sleep. I might worry. I will not go back. I. will. not. go. back.
After the traumatic experience, IJ took me to one of my fav Mexican restaurants in the ghetto. My day was beginning to look up.
But then. Then. Oh Lord have mercy on my precious soul...and then, Eldest Twerp took some of her left over Christmas money and bought American Idol 2 for the Wii. And she has yet to get to play.
I am just saying, ya know when you step into something and you know immediately it is what you were BORN to do. You know that the whole reason you were placed on this earth was for this very reason.
This is how I felt when I picked up this mic.... When I started to sing.... When I danced and danced and danced.
I'll give you a guess as to what song I was singing in the last three pics....
I am too hoarse to continue tonight...but after my tea and honey I will be back in the saddle again tomorrow. I can't let my fans down...

You look a little 'Eye of the Tiger' or 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' to me. Then again, those are old songs so the Wii probably uses some that are young and hip and I'd have absolutely no idea what those could be since I am the antitheisis of young and hip.
