Hide and Seek

I, being the good mother that I am, always know the exact location of my children. GPS has nothing on me. I am like a stealth-like radar. I have my eye on them at all times.

Watching every breath they take....every move they make...every bond they break...every step they take...I'll be watching them. (Band? Anyone? Anyone? 1983 album?) Except for the five minutes (that seemed like eternity) that I could not find my Nutter and Butter the other night. We searched high and low, looked in the bathroom, dryer, trash can, and garbage disposal; but soon heard the giggles. When we followed these muted sounds, this is what we found...Just look at that closet. I had it all SPOTLESS until my spawn started playing in there. I always have my house spotless and perfect. Lemon oil and crisp lemon permeate my home. You could eat off my floors. And believe me, at times we do. I daily wash my windows and polish my baseboards. Yes, that is me..Martha Stewart watch out. Beware of me, Suzy Homemaker, Mr. Clean. Lysol Scrubbing Bubbles and Clorox are my only friends.

Basically what I am saying is don't judge me based on my closets. All the others are organized in ABC order by color. And I dust them daily. And take inventory weekly. They were having so much fun. How could I be mad at the mess?
Nutter and Butter love one another.
They even try to kiss at times. Okay, that is enough. No more fun for you. Enough acting like 2 and 3 year olds. Get up and clean this closet. Then wash the dishes and do the laundry. Pronto...Hurry...I am cracking that whip. Mush...mush!
