Farmer's Market

Okay, okay. I apologize for my last post. I am over my funk. Kinda. Mostly. I would totally delete it, but I am committed to tellin' it like it is.

So I am most certain Eldest Twerp had food poisoning. She threw up almost every hour and not to get too detailed, but it was rotten food. And none of the other Twerps are sick and she is fine now...I am tellin you food poisoning is like poison or something. It was bad. She is in there right now singing a little Alice Cooper, "You're poison running through my veins."

After we cleaned up a little, we got up and about and went to the Farmer's Market downtown, which is about 0.8 miles from my house. We could have walked, and I would have, but Eldest Twerp and all had just been so sick so...I drove for the kids..not for me...but for their sake...honest...I am just that kinda mom. When we got there I immediately noticed this lady's set up. Her flowers were gorgeous. I almost bought a bouquet and wrote a card on them that said, "Country Girl, your beauty inside and out is above measure. I long to spend the rest of my life in the arms in your embrace." Then have them delivered to me at the next booth over. And I would act all surprised as I bought some tomatoes and then I would look all around like WHO IN THE WORLD and then prance to my car. But I didn't. At least not this week.
Then Baby Twerp found a friend that he called Grandpa and he kept asking him if he could ride his tractor and I let him cause it was so like free babysitting. And we all know I snatch that up like hot cakes. So we shopped around a little and acted all NOT interested in anything cause I SO like to negotiate a good bargain. I sent Baby Twerp in for the kill. You have to start them early ya know? Yes, Baby Twerp got the deal. Don't look too excited Baby Twerp. Ya gotta play it cool.
They could not even wait until we got home to dive into them there peaches. Eldest Twerp was feeling much better. Can't wait til next Tuesday. Off to cut up a cantaloupe...not antelope. Just making sure I keep it clear. Hee Hee Ho Ho Giggle Giggle Snort.

Funny....cause just last night we had the same conversation, cantaloupe vs. antelope......Duchess thought we were serving baby deer for dessert. She revolted....

Glad to hear that Eldest is better, is truly stinks when their so sick.

Hang in there.. I grew up in a military family and I know it's hard to be relocated. As social as you seem to be, you will be making new friends and building a support system very soon. I looked to see if your email was on your site, and I didn't see it, I was going to keep you company for a while. :) I am glad you hear your daughter is better.
