My Tour of Duty

After September 11, Indiana Jones was deployed overseas immediately. He came home in the summer of 2002 and I was ready to have a baby. Then came miscarriage number one in July and miscarriage number two in November. Then, on Valentine's Day, he got orders to be deployed again.

Well, fine. But I am ovulating and I am going too. So I did. And here we are. I met IJ and his seven troops he was responsible for in Guam, which is like owned by the US. Like, I did not know that. And it is like Hawaii, but for the Japanese. See the plethora of knowledge I am for ya'll?Here we are at 5 am in the morning in the ocean...uhm, the one by Guam. We were going fishing for Mahi Mahi. And I caught two. Yeah, I am pretty much a deep sea fisherman now. I am so like those guys in Deadliest Catch. Except I wear a bikini. Then, Elroy had a bright idea that we should all go drive sand buggies. Do you see my hiney hanging off that seat? It was so much fun, but my bottom drug the ground for 2 hours. The oceans were beautiful...the waterfalls were dreamy...the hiking trails were romantic...and this this is how we got Middle Twerp. Nuff said.

Wow....what a great idea! I always waited for my husband to come *back* from deployment to get pregnant. Problem was....he was ready to go again by the time I reached full term. Ugh. It would have been great to join him on a deployment or even a det. Oh well, that part of our life is over now.

Good Morning CG! Are you having left over birthday cake today?

I hope you will accept the challenge and play a game of virtual tag with us today. Let's see, if I say, Betcha can't!" that should do it huh?

I would love to have you play, as you have been tagged at Calico Cat Press.

I guess this means You're IT!
