The Crew

Baby Twerp celebrated his birthday surrounded by just a few of his cousins and they are seated above from oldest to smallest. minus the baby ...she is not in order. Cause we, in our GREAT parenting skills decided it might not be the best for Baby Twerp to hold the baby beside the pool and all. I mean it were not for the pool I think it woulda been okay. But we are a little over protective and all. ...But let me just say for the record that anyone who even slightly knows Baby Twerp at all, realizes how comical it is that we had a POOL party. Yep, that's me. Always making their birthday parties ALL ABOUT THEM.I did however listen to my bloggers and your EXPERT advice and give Baby Twerp a truck cake. Cause you all said he woudl liek it and all. And you all were RIGHT, like always.
Again, I always give my children everything they want so I got Baby Twerp a Bavarian creme-filled cake. Which, of course is MY I mean his..yes his favorite. Let me just say, when it was time to blow out the candles, he kinda cinched the fact that very few adults would be eating a piece of cake. We kinda lost out appetite when strands of saliva attached themselves to my his cake. Birthdays are always hard on the non-birthday sibling and this was very evident when Baby Twerp opened his first present. Middle Twerp had about all the jealousy he could take.
But I being the wonderful parent I am had prepared for this event. I threw him to my cousin.
Some would call this water torture. I call it peace and quiet. Once we got most the kids in the pool... {sidenote: Is it just me or is it a little disconcerting that not only does Baby Twerp look upset, but he had a gun....Who are this kid's parents?}

And with the boys started on lunch...
Us girls moved onto more important things...like these cheeks. And I had to wrestle her out of the arms of others.
Just look how peaceful she is with Aunt Country Girl.
Uhm...how did this happen. I want her back... This might not end well for some... I am gonna trade some of my boy twerps in for the precious smell of Baby Magic and late night feedings and tiny toes and precious cries and soft spot and umbilical cords and sweet sneezing and delicate yawns and pink bonnets and lavender blankets and girlie toile...

Anybody wanna trade some snips and snails for some sugar and spice?

I have nothing to trade. Our Sugar and Spice just started shaving and isn't (always) everything nice.

And I bet Big Boy Twerp was out riding his new truck or tractor while everyone else was swimming!
