An Honest Mistake - Hypothetically Speaking

Okay -- I'm gonna make this short and sweet, cause I do not want to belabor the point. AND cause I know this could happen to anyone. As a matter of fact it has probably happen to a few people who read this blog. Actually, I bet it has happened to more people than not. I betcha it has occurred to everyone of you - at some time or another. Yep, it is just an honest mistake. You all have done it. I am sure of it. Probably. Hypothetically Speaking.

Anyhoo, let me enter Exhibit A: The WOmen's Locker Room.

Notice the door. Notice the tile around the door. Notice the vertical white letters beside the door. Notice the little white sign beside the door. And here comes Exhibit B: The Men's Locker Room.

What? Oh no. This is a different picture. It is. Really. Yes, the same door. Yes, the same tile, Yes, the same vertical white letters. Yes, the same little white sign.
I swear they are different pics. I swear they are different doors.
And I can positively without a doubt tell you from first hand experience - the things behind these two doors are very very different.
And I can also tell you that if HYPOTHETICALLY you just got out of the pool with three chil'ens and you HYPOTHETICALLY were to open the door that said Men instead of WOmen (seriously -- they are just trying to confuse you) You will see things that will make you cover your children's eyes and say, "Why Lordy Be. I am so so sorry bout that."
And then you'll giggle. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

If you ever go to Destin, and go to McGuire's Pub/Resaturant, AND go to the bathroom you may end up in the same hypothetical situation. It hypothetically happened to 3 out of 4 in our family...of course, McGuire's TRIES to confuse you.

Yep, definitely did this. Except I walked into the mens room and see this guy who worked under me standing there doing his business and I was CONFUSED. My first thought was "What's he doing in the women's bathroom?" Then I saw the urinals. Oops.

Seriously? Gah! Thanks for the laugh!

I actually have walked in to a men's bathroom myself...on more than one occasion and there wasn't even any alcohol involved.

Teehee. *blush* Oh wait, I didn't mean to peek, I swear it. I've only ended up in the boys bathroom once, but that was on purpose. Now, before you go jumping to conclusions it was at a schmancy bar in Manhattan and rumor was that their stalls had flat screens on each wall including the door. I just HAD to see for myself, you understand...

I haven't walked into the men's locker room before, but I have walked into the men's bathroom several times. And alcohol wasn't involved, either. And they only reason I knew it was the mens room, was because I was thinking to myself "What funny looking sinks!" And then it dawned on me. And then I ran.

I totally did this once too. Fortunately not with my children in tow - but "lordy be" I did not realize it until I saw the boots of three men walk into the room. Unfortunately, there were only two stalls in this restroom - and wouldn't you know it - I was in one! What happened to men's rooms having urinals? I soooooooo would have noticed that!

I totally did this one too! Didn't realize it until "Lordy be" I saw three booted feet walk into the room. There were only two stalls - and wouldn't you know it - I was in one of them! I made them wait.

Love your blog - adore your twerps!
