Eldest Twerp's school called this morning. She was running a fever and not feeling well at all.
By the time I got her to the doctor, she was DYING. Just ask her. She would tell you in no uncertain terms that she could feel the life sleeping from her .... bit by bit. {insert coughing and gasping}
So, they did a strep test on her.
Positive.
Then a mono test.
Inconclusive. So we will go back in a week and do another one.
But this blanket? This blanket was one of three things ET came to us with. And I do not even know if she knows that. But when she is sick...or having a bad day. She gets this blanket.
I like to think she remembers and somehow it brings back a feeling of comfort. It might also be the fact that it is the only thing clean at our house. But I chose to believe the former. Amen.

Is she oinking? Seriously...I would freak out if one of my kids were sick right now! I'm a freak like that! Get well ET!

Poor ET!! I know how a sick child throws everything off too....and Im always afraid of getting sick and ebing out of commission too...will be praying for you.

There are SO many kiddos sick out there right! :( I think many of their parents are worrying it's swine flu, but I'm sure most of it is viral or the regular flu. I hope ET's on the mend soon!!

My goodness, I hope she feels better soon. Did she just have strep last fall too? I remember her being sick but don't remember if it was strep.
