Actual Conversation

So I packed up for Chi-town for my first day of work at my new job in which I am already in WAY over my head - but I am trying the distraction method by seducing them with my new heels and my designer bag and lame jokes....ya think it will work?

Anyhoo, Indiana Jones called bright and early this morning. When I heard the phone ring I rolled over in my soft comfy hotel bed and answered...knowing I would be called on for shoe choices or lunch box locations or possibly even directions to the school.

But this was the actual conversation that transpired:

IJ: Hey, you packed my toothbrush.

CG: No, I packed the blue one...that is MY toothbrush.

IJ: No, the blue one is mine.

CG: Well then I have been using your toothbrush for the past month.

IJ: Oh CG, that is disgusting.

CG: Why? It is not disgusting. You french kiss me....it's the same.

IJ: When I kiss you I do not scrape the plaque off your teeth.

Point taken. I went downstairs in the hotel and got a new one.

I'm am sooo jealous. I love Chee-cago. I'm gonna need you to do a couple of things for me while you're there. Ist thing is--Go to Lou Mitchell's for breakfast. It's over by the Sear's tower and is where all the locals go...so the food is to die for. It's always busy and if the line is out on the sidewalk, never fear. They walk around and serve donut holes while you wait. Homeade. Shall I say more? 2nd thing I'm gonna need you to do is go to the American girl store and get me the new Kit movie and the Ruthie doll? And Kit's dog Gracie? Thanks. And if you get a chance to go see Second City perform, you should. I know you're there for work...but a girl's gotta do what a girls gotta do. K.
Hugs and love, Edie

HaHaHaHaa Too funny!

Seriously, you rinse your toothbrush after you're done (right?) so what's the big deal - no different than tonge swishing, or eating from the same utensil.

Ah man, I'm such a germaphobe, I have duct tape wrapped around the handle of my toothbrush with my name on it!

That's kinda bad isn't it?

duct tape! now's that's rich! pretty funny that we can exchange all sort of bodily fluids (hope you don't have puritan readers) but NOT toothbrushes! you get yourself a pink one, CG and put heart stickers on it!
